Summary

We are facing the critical global issues including desertification, global warming and soil degradation. We study "SOIL" to solve these issues and create sustainable world for the future. The goal of our mission is to establish the agricultural and environmental systems that can be sustainable and productive. Our studies focus on i) the use of organic amendments for enabling the sustainable soil management, ii) investigation of interrelationships among soil biota for elucidating of soil borne disease, and iii) investigation of chemical speciation of toxic and nutritional elements in soils for understanding their toxicity and availability in the environment.
