Carrying Over Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research (Series of Single-year Grants/Partial Multi-year Fund)

On this page you can download the forms for carrying over Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research (Series of Single-year Grants/Partial Multi-year Fund) for fiscal year 2015.

Please discuss with the JSPS about any research projects that you thinking you might need to carry over the funding for. It is necessary to receive prior acceptance and agreement before officially submitting a request.
In the event that you have already reached the point where a certain project requires carrying over Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research, please go ahead and make your first application.
When funds can be carried over, the reasons for carrying these funds over were unforeseen at the time of the decision concerning the granting of the funding. As a result, please remember that the reasons on your application for carrying over funds should be framed as arising after the decision concerning the granting of the funding.

Note: With regard to Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research (Multi-year Fund) , with the exception of the final year of the research project, researchers can simply use their allocated funds in the following fiscal year without having to undertake any prior carry-over procedures.
